Description

The Digital Modernization Sector within Leidos has an opening for an Asset Manager for the GIG Service Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at Scotts AFB, IL.

The GSM-O contract scope includes Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

The Asset Manager will support TN 21, Integration Services, GSM-O by ensuring all IT assets, licenses, entitlements, warranties, and maintenance agreements are acquired, documented, tracked, stored, reconciled, secured, sanitized, and disposed of in accordance with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards. This position requires supply chain and logistics experience, and the ability to manage high-volume operational workflows at scale.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate procurement activities for hardware, software, licenses, maintenance renewals, warranties, consumables, professional services, and IT support contracts.
  • Track procurement packages through the Government process, maintain contract files, reconcile invoices, validate receiving reports, and support audit inquiries.
  • Ensure proof of entitlement, warranty documentation, maintenance agreements, and license keys are properly registered and compliant.
  • Oversee lifecycle asset management, including tracking, reconciliation, audit preparation, data maintenance, and adherence to DISA policies.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and coordinate acceptance testing, in-processing, decommissioning, and secure storage of assets.
  • Conduct hardware inventory, quarterly software inventory, and produce detailed compliance and optimization reports.
  • Coordinate provisioning of IT hardware/software for users, including laptops, desktops, printers, network devices, and consumables.
  • Validate warranty status for break/fix replacements and coordinate procurement of replacement equipment as needed.
  • Plan, coordinate, and optimize logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing IT equipment.
  • Proven experience in asset management, procurement, and logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware/software lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with DISA policies and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 3+ of years of experience in asset management, procurement, logistics, or IT lifecycle management.
  • Must hold an active US Secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency in asset management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware/software lifecycle processes.
  • Knowledge of DISA policies and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT integration, telecommunications, networking, or government programs.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) or similar certifications.
