Role Overview

As a Newspaper Delivery Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring timely delivery of our newspaper products. Your responsibilities will range from the delivery of newspapers, assisting other carriers, and occasionally stepping into other roles within the department. This position is perfect for someone flexible, dependable, and ready to lend a hand wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver newspapers and related products to designated locations and drop points daily.
• Deliver newspapers along assigned routes and assist carriers as needed.
• Transport any additional products as directed by the Home Delivery Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with paperwork and other administrative tasks to support daily operations.
• Adapt to various duties within the audience development department as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Proof of insurance is mandatory.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb stairs, and move quickly as needed.
• Strong math skills and clear communication abilities.
• Multitasking skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Forklift certification is required.
