Kennedy Jenks is seeking an Electrical Construction Inspector in California to support major water-related infrastructure projects. Travel may be required based on project needs. This role provides onsite construction oversight for small to large-scale public works projects, with a focus on electrical components of water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment plants, pump stations, industrial facilities, and electrical instrumentation and controls (I&C). You'll help protect project quality, safety, schedule, and documentation by observing contractor work, tracking progress, and supporting communication between owners, contractors, clients, and project teams. What You'll Do As an Electrical Construction Inspector, you'll provide daily onsite inspection, documentation, coordination, and quality control support for electrical work on water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

This role is primarily field-based, with travel to project sites required based on project needs. Office or remote work may be available when project responsibilities allow. Hourly Pay Rate for this position is anticipated to be $47 per hour, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure, seniority, certifications, and geographic location. Many of KJ's California public works projects are prevailing wage projects; therefore, KJ matches the prevailing wage requirements; many times, prevailing wage is higher than base pay rate.
