Fox News Channel is looking for a talented and experienced Line Producer to join the "Saturday in America with Kayleigh McEnany" team in New York. As a Line Producer, you know when and how to adapt to breaking news, have stellar communication skills, strong editorial judgment, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and time rundowns

  • Identify stories, angles, and elements each week

  • Pitch and execute creative and innovative ideas for segments and guests

  • Time the show in the control room, and communicate with anchors clearly and effectively

  • Responsible for story placement, compelling story teases, and other production elements

  • Oversee and rewrite copy

  • Guide associate producers and bookers on best segment elements and editorial practices

  • Work collaboratively with showrunner and show team

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of newsroom experience, including 2 years of line producing and relevant control room experience for a television newscast

  • Solid news judgment and strong knowledge of politics and current events

  • Excellent writing skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-110,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
