Job Description

You willbe responsible forleading large, complex sales engagements ofNielsenIQ's Advanced Analytics solutions across Packaging,Government, and Partner Network clients. Focus will be on renewing and achieving new business through the development of meaningful client relationships andultimately closingdeals. The goal is to expand and grow our Advanced Analytics solutions within assigned accounts bypossessingthe unique attributes of both a hunter (drive) and a farmer (cultivate). You will collaborate withAccount Leads andClient Success team members throughout the sales cycle. As an individual contributor, you will drive deals to successful outcomes across complex sales phasesin a timely manner. You will generate new product ideas and bring thevoice of the customerback to product management.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed revenuetarget
  • Execute againstsales initiatives: attend 1-5 tradeshows, perform cold-call lead generation, and conduct permission marketing campaigns toidentifypotential clients,qualifyand generate sales, conduct software demos
  • Act in a Specialty Sales role in support of the broader sales organization
  • Self-starter topro-activelyprospect the marketplace to expand our client base and drive repeat purchases and subscriptions with buyers
  • Use a consultative selling approach toidentifyclient businessneed, qualify, probe, scope and sell in NielsenIQ services
  • Execute end-to-end sales process from feasibility analysis, including credit checks and pricing, negotiating terms, writing proposals, and closing the sale
  • Develop and manage relationships with unique clients and prospects
  • Manage clientrelationshipand sales efforts with recurring ad-hoc clients by promptly answering client questionsregardingdata quality, serviceofferingand product delivery
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage sales pipeline reporting with excellence
  • Become proficient in NielsenIQ services, systems, and software tools
  • Participate in team projects
  • Lead larger sales organization in territory and account management activities
  • Lead commercial strategy and sales ofNielsenIQ'ssolutions for new clients
  • Develop commercial elements ofjointbusiness plan
  • Develop NIQ account plan & sales strategy
  • Achieve sales and strategicobjectives
  • Develop strategies to win based on client segmentation and product market fit
  • Build meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams
  • Represent voiceof customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams
  • With a high degree of urgency, uncover anddisseminateretailer,manufacturer, and competitive intelligence
  • Work collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners

A little bit about you

Are you a passionate, savvy salesperson, with a deep sense of urgency and accountability to deliver against financial targets? Can you effectively tell a story that captures the audience, no matter what level, andbringthem along your journey? Are you able to work collaboratively, as part of a remote team within a dynamic and challenging environment whilemaintaininghigh standards? Do you haveexperience inworking with complex client relationships and client issue resolution?

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degreerequired;Mastersdegreed favored
  • 3-5 years' consultative selling experience from CPG Manufacturing and/or Retail
  • NielsenIQ and/or IRI data experience essential
  • Ability to translate data knowledge into tactical and strategic solutionframeworks;advanced data analytic sales preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and polished manner to a diverse audience
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $62,500.00 - $85,750.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
