Requisition Summary

Communication/Recruiter Intern
The Communication/Recruiter Intern will support the company's internal and external communication initiatives while assisting with the full lifecycle of recruiting. This role provides hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and corporate branding. The intern will collaborate closely with the HR and Communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and contribute to talent acquisition efforts.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Special Project Assistance including, but not limited to:

• Assist with managing the full cycle recruiting process with a high-volume requisition load.
• Help design, develop, and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates.
• Stay abreast of changes in the online marketing environment and adjust accordingly.
• Generate Recruiting Statistics reports.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Facilitate a selected portion of one of our training programs.
• The intern will learn basic presentation skills and how to engage participants in a training environment.
• Assist with recruiting efforts.
• Assist in drafting and editing internal communications, newsletters, employee engagement activities and announcements.
• Support social media content creation and scheduling across platforms.
• Help maintain and update the company website and intranet content.
• Conduct research for communication campaigns and industry trends.
• Assist in planning and executing events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage, compile reports on communication metrics and prepare analytics reports.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Support the development of content for the company website and intranet.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing and branding strategies.
• Maintain communication calendars and ensure timely delivery of content.
• Provide administrative support for events and meetings as needed.
• Create Communication/Recruiter Dashboard using Data Analytics
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Pursuing B.S. Degree inHuman Resource, Business Information Systems, Business, or related Program and have completed theirsophomore year of college.
• Experience in MicrosoftSharePointpreferred.
• MS Office proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment required.
