Lead and develop a high-performing Electrical Build team by providing technical mentorship, project leadership, and people leadership to support customer and business needs. Drive product builds, improvements, and launches from concept through production using a structured stage-gate development process. Partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to translate customer requirements and market trends into executable build solutions. Coordinate and contribute to electrical layouts and builds, supporting power distribution, relay panels, lighting, and control systems while ensuring alignment with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Support build execution through cross-functional coordination, vendor drawing reviews, documentation, and technical support during construction and implementation. Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve build efficiency, quality, and scalability while encouraging a collaborative, problem-solving team environment.
You have:
Academic background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Previous experience includes 5+ years in electrical or engineering roles. At least 2 of those years must involve supervisory or team leadership. Candidates should show cross-functional collaboration in engineering, manufacturing, or product development environments. You need a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical build tools. You must demonstrate the ability to build for manufacturability. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Effective project and time management skills are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also important. Abilities: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or build environment, prioritize multiple tasks and complex development schedules, and collaborate across fields while supporting continuous improvement and change.
