You'll also conduct proactive inspections and minor corrective maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.

You'll specifically take care of recovering vehicles during system failures and restoring operations, but also inspecting subsystems and maintaining tools and work areas.

We'll look to you for:

  • Responding to system failures and restoring train operations safely and efficiently
  • Operating trains, doors, switches, train control, and power distribution systems in manual mode when required
  • Performing proactive checks and inspections of subsystems (APM Rooms, Substations, etc.)
  • Carrying out minor corrective maintenance during inspections
  • Preparing reports and daily logs as needed
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
  • Observing all safety practices and Standard Operating Procedures

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. Here are some skills and knowledge that will help you succeed:

  • Technical aptitude or experience in transportation systems or mechanical/electrical environments
  • Understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with reporting and documentation practices

Things you'll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You'll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning programs
  • Progress towards roles in operations or maintenance leadership
  • Receive a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
