DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will take charge of handling incoming calls from customers seeking assistance from the Risk Management Office (RMO), as well as from other Commonwealth agencies, law enforcement, and legislative offices. Your responsibilities will include delivering prompt and high-quality customer service, researching driver license and motor vehicle records, and meticulously tracking and logging all communications directed to the RMO. You will also manage customer interactions according to established guidelines and timelines. Additionally, you will perform various administrative and clerical tasks for the RMO, such as ordering supplies, organizing meetings, retrieving orders from the ROC Dock, and facilitating the delivery of items to staff within the building. You will be responsible for receiving, opening, tracking, and logging all incoming mail, ensuring it is delivered to RMO personnel. Furthermore, you will assist in typing customer correspondence and mailing items as requested by RMO leadership. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position requires travel and overtime.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
