Job Overview

Drive the digital, social, event & print marketing strategy and implement the execution of all customer-facing marketing for the Bloomingdale's Outlet division. Manage all digital, social print and store advertising & marketing materials to have a congruent customer experience. Coordinate store events and all marketing that supports those events.

Essential Functions

Marketing



  • Develop new marketing strategies and partner with VPs to drive the strategy & execution.
  • Manage, monitor & execute all strategic marketing initiatives across all platforms.
  • Understand business metrics to analyze, review & track marketing efforts with the goal of adjusting tactics to optimize overall performance & impact the marketing strategy in a new & innovative way (incl. Marketing Recap Meetings)
  • Partner with merchants & internal marketing partners to develop monthly content calendars in support of marketing strategy.
  • Develop events and manage store execution expectations.
  • Research, identify & share marketing practices in retail and other industries, including competition.
  • Maintain the Marketing Calendar and all historical data within.
  • Ensure all cadence assets across digital and special projects are congruent and are turned in & signed off in time.
  • Social influencer outreach, legal negotiation, contracting & event execution.
  • Partner with external marketing partners to drive strategies through external marketing opportunities (incl. but not limited to mall representatives) and vendor representatives.
  • Manage all creative and logistic aspects of photoshoots.
  • Drive marketing strategy for new store openings and store anniversary events/marketing supporting anniversary.
  • Manage marketing budget & review performance to marketing budget on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate & collect information for strategies and create deck for presentations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Visual



  • Ensure signs are congruent with offers & that stores have sign libraries up to date & replenished where needed.
  • Maintain Visual Brand Guide for Stores visual execution.
  • Develop and share merchandising strategies with stores aligning with merchandise strategy set by central.
  • Work with OVP Stores to coordinate fixture and store visual needs.
  • Manage visual budget & track visual expenses by store.

  • Manage all ad hoc requests from stores.

    Store Communication

  • Send update to stores with any new updates from central & participate in weekly conference calls.
  • Organize seasonal Fashion Voice deck and buyer presentation to stores.
  • Create b.communications for barcodes/promo codes & b.Trainings for new roll-outs or procedural changes.
  • Field UPC issue emails from stores.


Qualifications and Competencies



  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
  • Proficiency of MS Office computer programs are required
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
  • Physical Requirements

    • Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders.
    • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.
    • Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.
