Vascular Access Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Holding - Part Time - 20 hours - Days

GENERAL SUMMARY

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• Acts as a patient advocate while utilizing the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate goal focused, individualized, safe, age specific care for all patients including those with complex pathophysiological needs and/or psychosocial need
• This RN would be a part of the PICC team at West Bloomfield. Dealing with ultrasound guided PICC placement, ultrasound guided IV placement for OP radiology departments.
