Pediatric Transport RN (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and stabilize patients during helicopter transfers.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Maintain professional accountability for patient care.
• Coordinate care with other departments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.
• Document care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Participate in process improvement activities and professional development.
• Maintain required certifications and competencies (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Delegate and guide unlicensed health care providers and LPNs appropriately.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Missouri or compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be obtained within the required timeframe).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly; prolonged standing and walking; ability to bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
