Job Description

Job Purpose:

In this role, this individual will be responsible for creating marketing and content for altafiber that motivates our audience to engage with us and ultimately results in purchasing our products and services. The focus of this position is driving leads via tactics such as the blog and website and social media, as well as supporting upsell and loyalty programs to the existing customer base. The candidate should be comfortable with creating written content for our target audience and promoting the content through various channels.



Essential Functions:



  • Social media strategy - execution Work with Manager to develop and execute social strategy for the company Create, implement and analyze social media content on altafiber Digital Marketing Mgr II 's social channels to increase awareness of the company brand and support company initiatives Promoting content to the various channels at our disposal, including our blogs and social media Create engaging copy, images, and video content Develop optimal posting schedule Identify content topics that are of interest to our audience and maintain a content calendar that maps out all of the content to be published in the future Work with internal stakeholders to develop content plans Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • Content development 10% Website production: Assist with content updates in order to enhance and improve the overall customer experience
  • Other functions Manage and report on status of KPI's for assigned programs and tactics.


Experience:



  • 3 to 5 years of experience Minimum 1 years of marketing, campaign, and content experience in a corporate setting
  • Ability to deliver high-quality content paying attention to detail while also staying on top of the content calendar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills Project management skills are a must
  • Understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads, and sales
  • Experience creating content in similar settings is a plus

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics


Education:

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Must be an action-oriented person who is willing to test completely new approaches, learn from failures and continue to improve
  • Must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each, and why
  • Must have: Experience copywriting, creative content development - editing experience Must have: Proofreading brand and customer-facing content Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques Nice-to-have: Experience with Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.) Nice-to-have
  • Experience with Google Analytics Nice-to-have: Experience with a marketing automation platform such as Hubspot Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel, etc.) Ability to provide a sample of work which showcases a variety of creative - writing experience within print and digital platforms is a plus
