The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for the Lucas Meyer Cosmetics portfolio across the Texas and Midwest regions. This role focuses on building and strengthening strategic relationships with key brands, contract manufacturers, and distributors within the cosmetics and personal care industry through a consultative, B2B sales approach. Leveraging an established industry network, the Regional Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements, and manage key accounts while consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates based in Dallas, Texas; however, candidates located elsewhere in Texas or the Midwest will also be considered to support regional customer engagement. The role is ideal for a self-motivated, results-driven sales professional with demonstrated experience selling cosmetic ingredients, including actives and functional ingredients, to brands and manufacturers. Representing Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant, a global leader in innovative, scientifically supported cosmetic ingredients, the Regional Sales Manager will grow a differentiated portfolio manufactured to the highest quality and regulatory standards while directly influencing commercial success in a competitive market.

Responsibilities:



  • Achieve yearly sales objectives by developing and maintaining business with customers
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify business opportunities and enhance competitive positioning
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Formulation, R&D, and Customer Service to align sales initiatives and identify new opportunities
  • Conduct frequent visits to customer accounts to promote Lucas Meyer Cosmetics ingredients
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales opportunity pipeline
  • Develop expertise in active ingredients and coordinate with the regional team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Utilize understanding of raw materials, active ingredients, formulations, and industry trends, to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive revenue
  • Utilize a consultative and strategic sales approach to strengthen Lucas Meyer Cosmetic's position within key accounts
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote LMC's offerings



Requirements:



  • The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of demonstrated sales experience with a deep understanding of the personal care industry (specifically within active ingredients)
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; specialization in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business, or Marketing is preferred
  • Established customer network in Texas and/or Midwest
