Student Sonographer - PRN

Location: Mercy Hospital (W Memorial Rd) - Oklahoma City

Overview:

The Sonography Intern will work under the supervision of experienced radiologists and ultrasound technologists to assist in the daily operations of ultrasound procedures. This position provides hands-on training and exposure to diagnostic imaging techniques, with a focus on learning the practical and theoretical aspects of ultrasound technology. The intern will assist in preparing patients, operating ultrasound equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow in the ultrasound department.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently enrolled in certified Ultrasound Training Program or in a school of ultrasound imaging.

• Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Basic knowledge of ultrasound principles and diagnostic imaging techniques, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
