Your Opportunity:

Techsource is looking for a full-time executive administrative professional to provide on-site support to the Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). You will provide business management support to senior executive staff. You will manage daily operations in a dynamic and highly engaging team setting, provide administrative and logistical support, and participate in various weekly and biweekly meetings. You will work onsite daily at the DOE Headquarters Forrestal Building, located in Washington, DC.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provide business management support to a busy and engaged Front Office.
  • Attend, participate in, and provide materials and minutes for staff/leadership meetings as needed.
  • Work in a team and network of professionals to ensure cohesion and alignment throughout the larger organization.
  • Manage executive schedules in a dynamic environment, including multiple sequential meetings in both classified and unclassified settings and ensure appropriate materials (e.g., documents, briefing slides) are available in a timely manner.
  • Manage logistics for executive travel within the National Capital Region.
  • Manage classified and unclassified conference room reservations to include opening/securing rooms, deconflicting and prioritizing meetings, and ensuring rooms are clean and properly configured for participants.
  • Schedule meetings, conferences, and setting up teleconferences, videoconferences, and seminars.
  • Assist staff with corporate business systems, such as the Foreign Travel Management System, Concur travel, Learning Nucleus, eDocs, and SharePoint.
  • Support proper electronic file organization and records retention.
  • Manage visit access procedures and requirements, including greeting and escorting visitors.

* Active DOE Q or DoD Top Secret security clearance.

* 10 or more years of executive assistant professional work experience.

* Discretion and professionalism in a highly visible and demanding environment.

* Proven record working in a team of administrative professionals and with professionals at all levels of an organization.

* Keen organizational, detail-orientation, and administrative skills.

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
