GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, in conjunction with the Coordinator, or Data Manager, assists with developing, maintaining, and optimizing a data warehouse and databases for health services research and health policy analysis. Performs design and construction, data verification, and documentation. Partners with stakeholders for policy and health services evaluations. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in a health science, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field required. Master's Degree in biostatistics, or computer science preferred. Four (4) years of experience in data programming required. Experience with SAS required. Experience in data programming in healthcare research preferred. At least three (3) years in a healthcare environment preferred. At least three (3) years in a research environment preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues with different levels of technical and scientific knowledge. Desire and willingness to learn and develop new skills. This position is hybrid - 3 days work in the office at One Ford Place, Detroit and 2 days work from home. Four (4) years of experience in data programming required. Experience with SAS required. Experience in data programming in healthcare research preferred.
