Job Title: Project Lead
Normally Reports to: Area Operations Manager
Job Objective: The Project lead assist the sales team with the bidding process for chemical cleaning and in the development of procedures and equipment needs for awarded projects. This position will lead the safe execution of multiple projects from the planning stage through completion. The Project Lead will participate in training service technicians and on-going management of equipment, inventory, and service technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.
- Work from engineering drawings/schematics and technical manuals to assist the sales group to develop competitive and profitable bids
- Interact with the customer on awarded work to develop the processes and procedures for the projects
- Develop load lists and assist operations with the job preparations
- Partner with safety to build and implement safe work practices. Understand and comply with all safety training and requirements
- Execute multiple projects simultaneously to assure effective cleaning services are performed
- Communicate with customer to explain processes of company's products and services
- Complete documentation for assigned tasks
- Participate on cross functional teams as needed to support and participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities
- Perform other necessary job-related duties or responsibilities including learning and participating in other services that the company offers
- Responsible for executing multiple projects to plan, including but not limited to meeting financial and quality objectives.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to read and mark-up piping and instrumentation diagrams, and isometric drawings
- Understanding of cleaning chemistry and flow fundamentals.
- Must be able to work independently and use good judgment
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills (internal and external)
- Scheduling flexibility and ability to travel up to 75% and work in the field away from home Ability to acquire a passport
- Proven excellence in safety
- Physically submit to periodic drug, background and clearance screenings
- High diploma or GED is required. Two-year degree in related technical field is preferred
- This position may require driving for the company. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred, but not mandatory.
- PC literate (MS Office)

The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, climb and work in heights of 30 ft. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
