Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Quitman offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehab, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep lab. Responsibilities Performs MRI procedures in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Functions under the direction of the Imaging Department Director, the MRI supervisor and cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as require by the hospital. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in an approved school of radiologic technology. ARRT registered in MRI within 18 months of hire (Director/Coordinator discretion allowed). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and perform all MRI procedures as normally required in these areas. 2 to 3 years as a diagnostic technologist.
