Our client is looking for a Systems Designer to join their Product Design team!
This is a 6-month contract, 40 hours/week and is fully remote. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the expansion of an enterprise design system to support responsive and mobile-first experiences, ensuring patterns feel intuitive, performant, and native-inspired - Design and deliver mobile-ready components and interaction models, with a strong iOS sensibility, while maintaining system integrity and scalability - Audit and evaluate system readiness for mobile use cases, identifying gaps and opportunities to elevate quality and consistency - Drive end-to-end system design initiatives, from research and concepting through iteration, feedback, and launch - Partner deeply with designers and engineers to ensure solutions are technically sound, accessible, and easy to implement across teams - Produce clear, robust documentation and specifications that enable seamless engineering handoff and long-term adoption - Champion accessibility and inclusive design, embedding best practices into components, patterns, and workflows from the outset REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years of dedicated design systems experience (with an additional 10+ years of product design experience) - Proven expertise designing responsive web systems, with strong experience creating native-inspired mobile interactions (iOS experience strongly preferred). - NICE TO HAVE: Experience designing native Android or React Native components within a shared system The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $60-$110 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
