Purpose of Position: HR Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with Team Members and management in the Pacific Northwest sites in Washington and Oregon.The position serves as a consultant to management human resource-related issues;successful HRBP acts as a Team Member champion and change agent. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and Team Members that reflect the business objectives of the organization. Essential Job Functions:
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Consult with supervisors/management, provideHR guidance when appropriate. Work closely with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Manage and resolvecomplex employee relations issues.Conducteffective and objective investigations.
- Recruit exempt and non-exempt employees to ensure the best candidates possible are selected. Manage and coordinate Foster Farms, enterprise-wide, college recruiting programs.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Team Members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Additional Functions:
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
- Additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related fields.
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Knowledge of performance management, employee relations, safety practices, talent acquisition, and compensation strategy, with the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
- Change agents with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive continuous improvement and results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing HRMS.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Must have a validdriver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have consistent and reliable attendance.
