What to Expect
We are looking for a Program Manager on Display team to drive cutting edge technologies across all our vehicles and deliver results in highly innovative and fast paced environment. This position will focus on mapping display component material flow globally working with external vendors and internal partners, develop robust planning strategies across multiple products and vendors to mitigate E&O and ensure supply availability. In addition, the person will lead and own Cost and Capex tracking and analysis across all components, programs and vendors within the value chain. An ideal candidate will have high ambition to grow within Tesla and bring high energy/impact to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through collection of facts & data, advanced planning, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, thought-through strategy, and superior communications to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities.

What You'll Do
  • Own material planning function within Display Supply Chain team with goal of maximizing Supply availability at optimal cost
  • Manage material availability, readiness and visibility in support of all in-production programs from development, Production ramp through End of Life and Service
  • Develop and Maintain Material Drive strategy to ensure appropriate buffer and flexibility at component level, enabling quick response to demand changes
  • Enable cross functional alignment on PRQ priorities and material allocation between sites and programs to optimize supply chain
  • Review regular CTBs and create as needed to drive closing material shortages with relevant GSMs, Vendors, Planning and SIE teams
  • Manage execution with external partners such as component Vendors and Contract Manufacturers and Distributors and act as escalation for urgent and critical issues
  • Develop and maintain Cost tracker to enable real time understanding of costs and opportunities
  • Success measured in terms of improved efficiency, material availability, Liability mitigation, and cost visibility

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain role specifically in Material Management working in fast paced high-volume hardware industry
  • Ability to Problem Solve and have analytical skills to handle complexity of multiple manufacturing sites, SKU mixes and multiple Supply Chain Tier management
  • Experience working in and managing high volume, hardware component products launches and delivery
  • Experience building solid relationships and driving alignment/collaboration with cross functional teams internally and externally
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting to management and teammates periodically
  • Experience in self-developing cost data and models or partnering with IT teams to design and scale tools/systems for efficiency improvement
  • Strong understanding of cost management, analytics and reporting
  • Experience building relationships with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional partners and drive discussions around optimization of technical specifications, and features vs. value trade-offs
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Operations Management or equivalent experience

    Expected Compensation
    $82,800 - $151,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
