What to Expect We are seeking aSoftware License Specialistto manage andoptimizeour engineering and enterprise software licenses, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and proper allocation. This role involvesworking closely with Engineering stakeholders,supporting the procurement ofbest-in-classsoftware tools to maximize software availability while minimizing overspending. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with license managers likeFLEXlm, DSLS, RLM, andOpenLM, as well asexpertise withvarioussoftwarelicensing models. What You'll Do Monitor and analyze software license usage tooptimizeallocation and reduce unnecessary costs Identifyand investigate opportunities toconsolidatetools to improve commercial positions and reduce overhead related to vendor management Ensure compliance with vendor agreements and internal policies Track licensing costs by department / team / user andmaintainregular communication with organization and leadership on usage levels and associated costs Support team with quarterly cost forecasting by analyzing usage patterns Work with IT, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to align software needs with business goals. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
