We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven nursing leader with a strong background in operations and management to work closely with the cardiac surgery multidisciplinary teams at JHH and partner with colleagues throughout the HVI. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and strategic thinker with demonstrated success in process improvement, patient throughput, and staffing optimization. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on adult surgical care by supporting our teams in delivering the highest quality, patient- and family-centered care. The Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing in the organization, development, and operation of the nursing department within a functional unit. As designated by the Director of Nursing, assumes responsibility for clinical operations, programs, various nurses in leadership or advanced practice roles, and/or professional support staff. The Assistant Director of Nursing participates in the functional unit, the department of nursing and hospital programs and/or committees. In the absence of the Executive Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing assumes responsibility for nursing service within the functional unit. What Awaits You:

Salary Range: Minimum 62.12/hour - Maximum 96.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
