Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for an IT Contract Manager Intermediate to join their team in Louisville, KY The Information Technology Contract Manager - Intermediate reports to the Director of IT Operations. This role is responsible for assisting with contracting and procurement activities for IT supplies, equipment, services, and maintenance. The Intermediate supports day-to-day purchasing functions, contract documentation, and vendor communications under supervision. Responsibilities include helping track vendor performance, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to established processes. This position emphasizes learning organizational procurement standards, developing customer service skills, and building a foundation in contract management. The Intermediate role provides growth opportunities by supporting higher-level IT Contract Managers and gaining experience in procurement strategy and vendor management. Essential Duties: * Assists with the contract portfolio and conducts contract negotiations with vendors working inconjunction with resource councils and service lines, Information Technology leadership and the ITContract Manager Senior. * Coordinates with legal as necessary to ensure terms and conditions are consistent with ourstandards and meets Baptist Health policy. Executed contracts should be in the best interest ofBaptist Health. * Coordinate and communicate contractual terms to other departments whose functions arenecessary to the development, implementation, and management of the project initiative. * Participate in cross-functional and project specific meetings to assigned service line and serve asthe IT expert on the contracting process. * This position is responsible for assisting with providing contracting guidance, advice, instruction,training, and recommendations. * Assisting with managing system contracting application and ensures timely renewal of contracts. Coordinates contract reviews with legal as needed. * Ensure suppliers, strategic partners, risks, and opportunities are in line with our strategy for suppliermanagement. * Facilitates executive and stakeholder approval for strategic sourcing scope and strategies includingproviding detail regarding complexity and risk ratings. * Works with analysts to quantify and analyze data for appropriate groups and makerecommendations for consideration of standardization or use within Baptist Health operating units. * Works collaboratively with Supply Chain, Legal, IT Security, IT Leadership, and Hospital Leadershipwhen necessary. * Ensures contracting terms and conditions include Information Technology direction provided by theappropriate resource council, service line council, Vice President of Information TechnologyOperations, or Chief Information Officer. * Maintains a collaborative relationship with leadership and other system service teams and councilsin the health system to identify and implement improvements and standardization with systems,services, and products and then contracts on behalf of Baptist Health accordingly.
