Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

What You'll Do

  • Work with a supportive team to solve real-world manufacturing challenges and improve processes.
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop action plans and implement solutions.
  • Learn how to use problem-solving methods like 7-Step and 8D to uncover root causes and drive improvements.
  • Get hands-on experience with creating and updating design drawings using CAD tools.
  • Explore how parts and assemblies come together, and help configure Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for better designs and processes.
  • Participate in exciting projects that introduce new products and improve existing ones.
  • Travel opportunities (up to 25%) to see your work in action across different locations.

What We're Looking For

  • A curious mind and a passion for learning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle challenges.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Interest in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, or engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with tools like CAD, Matlab, or Python is a bonus-but not required! We'll teach you.

Minimum Qualifications

Base Pay Range: $67,000.00 - $113,900.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.

Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
