Location: Austin, TX.

Job Description:

  • Client requires the services of Systems Analyst 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Systems Analyst 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.
  • All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Client and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law.
Level Description:
  • 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. It relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
  • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

Additional job details and special considerations:
  • The Client requires the services of Systems Analyst 2 position, hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualifications of Systems Analyst 2, and the specifications outlined in this document for the above-named customer.
  • This Systems Analyst contractor position is part of the MCS team and will be working to develop, implement, and support the expansion of the client's Microsoft 365 Power Platform in support of custom application development.
  • This position will perform Systems Analyst/Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Dataverse, Power Pages, PowerApps, Model-driven Apps, PowerApp Portals, Business Process Flows, and more.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5 Years required: Experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.
  • 4 Years required: Experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate technical solutions.
  • 4 Years required: Experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
  • 4 Years required: Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model.
  • 4 Year required: Experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows.
  • 4 Years required: Experience in Dataverse tables and uses.
  • 4 Years required: Experience in Power Pages portals.
  • 4 Years required: Experience in Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
  • 2 Years preferred: Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
  • 2 Years preferred: good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project.
  • 2 Years preferred: Experience in Agile development and sprint planning.
  • 2 Years preferred: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
  • 1 Years preferred: Experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and PowerApps portals.
