What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain high visibility while on patrol to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment for staff and visitors.
  • Communicate professionally with the public, staff, and law enforcement as necessary.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on all security-related incidents, observations, and activities.
  • Follow all post orders and directives from Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
  • Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
