The Experiential Marketing Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and operational support for the Experiential Marketing Team, helping manage projects, organize assets, and keep marketing activities running smoothly. Responsibilities include assisting with the creation, scheduling, and tracking of social media and content marketing initiatives; coordinating community engagement and event logistics; and maintaining shared tools and reports that support collaboration across teams. The role also contributes to broader campaign efforts by building and tracking email communications, preparing marketing materials, and supporting cross-functional projects with sales and product teams. Through this hands-on work, the Marketing Assistant helps ensure that creative ideas are executed efficiently and that every educator and student interaction is thoughtfully supported.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Campaign Team.
  • Build and edit emails in Marketo, help coordinate campaign timelines in Asana, track deliverables, and support reporting as needed.
  • Assist with creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content across platforms.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and track trends within educator and student communities.
  • Support community growth initiatives and help ensure content aligns with audience interests and departmental goals.
  • Provide administrative support for content marketing and peer learning community initiatives.
  • Help organize and maintain shared content calendars, manage community member lists and permissions, coordinate discussion topics, and track participation data.
  • Support the development and distribution of newsletters, discussion prompts, and community resources that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among educators.
  • Maintain shared project timelines, calendars, and asset libraries in tools such as Asana and Google Drive.
  • Support vendor payment management, process invoices, and coordinate prize distribution for giveaways and promotions.
  • Track project deliverables, document workflows, and assist with team coordination and communication.
  • Assist with planning and executing logistics for major events such as National Sales Meetings, virtual conferences, and educator gatherings.
  • Manage event materials, coordinate setup, and ensure all logistical elements run smoothly.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Ability to manage a number of ongoing tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to take risks and eagerness to learn.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Google Suite with expertise particularly in Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Knowledge of/experience with Gen AI tools and workflow automations.
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to propose and experiment with new content ideas (e.g., interactive posts, micro-campaigns, new engagement formats) across email and social channels to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Experience using generative AI tools for drafting social media captions, generating discussion prompts, or brainstorming campaign ideas.
  • Comfortable testing bold or unconventional campaign tactics and learning from real-time feedback and performance metrics.


Salary Range:

This is an entry level role and the salary is $42,000/year.

Exemption Status: Exempt

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to multi-task, concentrate in an open office work environment, and to travel occasionally. Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.

The position is eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations: Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
