Job Title:Engineer I, Electrical FLSA Status:Exempt Department:Engineering Reports to:Engineering Manager, Electrical Location:Hamel, MN or Georgetown, TX This position requires travel between Georgetown, TX and Hamel, MN during the first year of employment, with up to 25% travel expected. This travel is essential to support a comprehensive onboarding process, hands-on technical training, and an accelerated learning curve. It also provides valuable opportunities to build strong relationships within the Electrical team and enhance cross-functional collaboration with other business units at Loram. All necessary travel and lodging expenses will be reimbursed by the company in accordance with our travel policy. Flex Work Eligible!This position qualifies for the Flexible Work Policy. Employees receive 75 work days annually to work home! The initial amount of days is prorated for the first year based on start date. GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE: The Engineer I, Electrical is responsible for developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs under the direction of a senior engineer or manager. They provide direction to designers and drafters regarding the documentation of their designs. Provides engineering support to internal and external customers and performs other tasks as assigned.
