We're on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a bold, strategic leader to define and scale our global strategy for the Technology sector. This role spans software, hardware, semiconductor, electronics, cloud and platform companies, Professional Services, and Agency Networks, often with complex B2B, B2C and B2B2C value chains.

As the Global Industry Strategy Lead, Technology, you will define Adobe's industry point-of-view (POV) and translate it into a globally aligned, cross-cloud (Adobe Digital Experience + Adobe Digital Media) go-to-market (GTM) strategy. You will partner deeply across Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, and Marketing to unify Adobe's narrative, accelerate pipeline, and drive repeatable impact across regions.

This role sits within the Digital Strategy Group (DSG) and plays a critical part in Adobe's Global Industry Strategy team-responsible for shaping Adobe's industry vision, value propositions, and high-impact strategic motions at scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop Adobe's POV for the Future of Technology

Lead the creation of a differentiated, forward-looking POV that demonstrates how Adobe enables transformation across the entire Technology customer and partner ecosystem.
This includes:

  • Demonstrating value across product-led growth motions, partner ecosystems, B2B commerce models, cloud & platform engagement, and customer lifecycle experiences

  • Shaping strategic use cases across data, personalization, content supply chain modernization, global marketing operations, and unified measurement

  • Developing reusable global assets: frameworks, POVs, use-case libraries, playbooks, industry demos, and Bill of Materials (BOM) content for sales, DSG, and partners

You will collaborate closely with strategists, technologists, data scientists, partner organizations, and field teams to define what "great" looks like-and how Adobe helps Technology companies get there.

2. Sharpen and Coordinate a Global GTM Strategy

Translate the industry POV into a globally aligned, high-impact GTM motion.
You will:

  • Align strategy across sales plays, product requirements, partner motions, and regional needs

  • Ensure GTM motions scale globally-not tied to a single region, account list, or narrow set of priorities

  • Provide input to product and engineering teams around emerging trends, customer patterns, and required capabilities

  • Collaborate with partner teams to define joint assets, accelerators, and co-sell strategies

This role ensures Adobe shows up to the Technology industry with one coordinated voice and one unified strategy.

3. Drive Influence Through High-Leverage Thought Leadership

Focus on fewer, more strategic deliverables that scale across the business.
This includes:

  • Authoring frameworks, POVs, and industry narratives used across Adobe's global ecosystem

  • Identifying where Adobe has a differentiated "right to win" in Technology

  • Codifying insights from customer work into reusable global assets, such as customer success stories

  • Monitoring industry trends to ensure Adobe stays ahead of market shifts, emerging business models, and new experience expectations

The impact of your work will be measured by clarity, adoption, and influence-not volume.

4. Engage Executives Strategically (primarily 1:many, and 1:1 for top priority accounts)

Represent Adobe as a trusted advisor in Technology executive settings.
You will:

  • Lead Adobe's involvement in industry events, executive forums, and roundtables

  • Present compelling, strategic thought leadership to C-suite audiences

  • Support high-value pursuits, Customer Experience Center (CEC) briefings, and strategic account engagements

  • Sponsor and cultivate key customers, enabling case studies, customer keynotes, and repeatable stories of impact

Your goal is to maximize industry influence at scale while supporting the strategic deals that matter most.

5. Amplify Global Marketing and Upskill the Ecosystem

Partner with global marketing and field teams to amplify Adobe's Technology leadership.

You will:

  • Shape global campaigns, messaging, and event strategies

  • Guide positioning for AI-driven innovation in Technology

  • Enable DSG, field teams, SCs, BDRs, and partners with reusable training, demos, and toolkits

  • Build a consistent global drumbeat of Adobe-led thought leadership

This role turns Adobe's Technology capabilities into a cohesive, globally recognized story.

What You Need to Succeed

Success is defined by the clarity you create, the global alignment you drive, and the measurable impact on Adobe's Technology business.

Ideal candidates bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in the Technology sector (software, hardware, cloud, semiconductor, electronics, strategy consulting, or platform provider)

  • Deep understanding of digital transformation within Technology: customer data, AI/ML, personalization, content supply chain, omnichannel experiences, B2B engagement, product-led growth, and measurement

  • Proven success building and executing strategic transformation programs

  • Experience aligning GTM strategies across sales, product, and partner teams, ideally with global scope

  • Ability to distill complex topics into clear, scalable frameworks and POVs

  • Outstanding executive presence with extensive experience presenting to C-suite audiences

  • Excellent storytelling, narrative development, and written communication skills

  • Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to influence in matrixed environments

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity with an entrepreneurial, opportunity-driven mindset

  • Willingness to travel up to 33%
