Security Officer - Armed Patrol Response

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Response in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for suspicious activities and report any security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence while carrying out armed patrol duties as required by the post profile.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports as necessary for all security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Hold an armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
