Overview

The Quality Coordinator (QC) supports the implementation and maintenance of TRC's quality management system for offices within the East Region under the Power Delivery Sector. The QC will work with Project Management, Engineering and Design, and Project Control groups to ensure all deliverables meet established standards of accuracy, consistency, and quality.

The QC will focus on process enforcement, documentation tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.


Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and administer the quality management system documentation, including policies, procedures, templates, and records.
  2. Coordinate quality process tasks throughout the design lifecycle to ensure adherence to the process and schedule.
  3. Support internal quality audits, track corrective and preventive actions, and verify completion of quality-related tasks.
  4. Assist in preparing quality reports, tracking metrics, and dashboards for management review.
  5. Work with project teams to ensure quality documentation and checklists are implemented consistently.
  6. Participate in quality meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  7. Train and support staff on quality procedures, document control tools, and compliance requirements.
  8. Archive and maintain project quality records and closeout documentation.
  9. Perform high-level drawing reviews, focusing on drafting standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience. At least two years of experience in a quality or document control role within an engineering, construction, or technical services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Salesforce, and/or ProjectWise).
  • Knowledge of engineering workflows, project documentation, or technical submittals.
  • Familiarity with corrective/preventive action tracking systems or quality dashboards.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
