Airport Security Officer - Dispatch Unit

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Federal Building in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. You will interact with the public and staff, providing clear communication and support while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter prohibited items and/or activities, reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and others on-site to provide assistance and relay information as needed.
• Follow established protocols for reporting and responding to emergencies, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
