As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an academic environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure atmosphere for students, faculty, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with campus personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and site-specific needs.
• Document incidents and observations according to site requirements and Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with crowd management and campus events as needed, providing a visible presence to help to deter disruptions.
• Remain alert to changing campus conditions and report any hazards or concerns to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
