Security Professional - Distribution Center Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Professiona- Distribution Center Patrol - Full Time in Cypress, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will also provide excellent customer service and clear communication, reflecting Allied Universal's values of reliability, agility, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or breaches of policy to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence at key access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
