Operations Manager - Night Shift Location: Holt, MI Schedule: Night Shift ; 6pm - completion At McKesson, we deliver better health by ensuring our customers and patients receive the products they need - safely, efficiently, and on time. Our distribution center teams are the heartbeat of that mission. We're seeking a Night Shift Operations Manager at our Holt, Michigan facility. We are looking for someone who will lead and empower employees to succeed while driving operational excellence. You'll manage staffing, engagement, service quality, compliance, and profitability during overnight operations. Key Responsibilities Servant Leadership Lead by example, supporting and empowering employees to achieve their best work. Operational Excellence Oversee all aspects of night shift operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving. Partner with transportation and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate deliveries. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and cost optimization. Culture & Engagement Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by fostering a workforce that reflects McKesson's commitment to belonging and respect. Reinforce a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews and strategy sessions with Supervisors to translate metrics into actionable insights. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to DEA, OSHA, and McKesson regulatory standards. Champion a culture of safety through training, monitoring, and proactive risk mitigation. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support transparency and audit readiness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent experience in warehouse distribution 6+ years of operational experience, preferably in large-scale distribution environments, 2+ years in a leadership role Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, and material handling equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to build trust across teams and departments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) Familiarity with lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies preferred Knowledge of DEA and OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
