Overview Under the direct supervision of the Manager or Director, Aging Services, will provide daily oversight of the assigned program and staff to ensure financial and quality benchmarks are met. Provides staff supervision daily to ensure that the care model requirements are met and that best care is provided each and every encounter. Interacts with external parties in a professional, timely manner and meets all requirements. Promotes and supports the objectives of Aging Servics and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of Aging Services. Why UnityPoint Health? Monitors staff work daily Recruits/retains high performing staff and ensures high staff performance by holding staff accountable; conducts annual performance reviews. Acts as a liaison with contract representatives, Managed Care Organizations, and other related external parties. Completes and submits accurate reports in a timely manner Identifies and implements process improvement initiatives to ensure program is meeting benchmarks. Participates in applicable trainings, conferences, and meetings Prepares reports Meets and ensures program meets compliance standards for all documentation, individual care plans, and charts. Informs manager and director of key components of the program. Demonstrates ability to meet business needs of department with regular, reliable attendance. Employee maintains current licenses and/or certifications required for the positions. Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal/state regulatory agencies. Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year. Is knowledgeable of department compliance requirements for Medicaid. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in social work, nursing or human service-related field. Required At least 1-2 years experience working in a human service-related field. Preferred | |
