The Senior Director of Academic Compliance supervises the Academic Compliance team, reports to the Vice President of Academic Operations, and is a collaborative partner to ensure ongoing program, campus, and University compliance with state higher education agency, state authorization, board of nursing, institutional and programmatic accreditation standards. Additionally, the role provides oversight for a compliant clinical contract review process. As the University authority on compliance regulations, the Senior Director of Academic Compliance is responsible for awareness and communication of changes in regulations.

Schedule: This role is typically Monday-Friday in Central Time zone

Requirements:



  • Master's degree in education or related field, Doctorate in education or related field preferred
  • Minimum of four-years of experience in a higher education environment
  • Prior experience in Academic Leadership
  • Education or experience in report writing
  • Prior experience in the development and submission of applications to post-secondary regulatory bodies

    • Preferred: Seven-years of experience engaged post-secondary education leadership

Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this position is $124,761 to $168,795.

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Ability to move about readily and rapidly, if necessary, around campus, classrooms, clinical settings, etc., to access classrooms, desks, students, office machinery, clinics, patients, etc.
  • Constantly communicates using the spoken word with students, staff and colleagues
  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess
  • Operate equipment specific to programmatic track, personal computer, audio-visual equipment, clinical equipment, etc.
  • Travel to off-site meetings, conferences, or campus visits as needed (up to 45% travel)
