FieldLink is a network infrastructure staffing company helping people find rewarding careers in the Telecom and Low Voltage Industry. We specialize in customized staffing partnerships with industry leading integrators responsible for large commercial projects and government contracts nation-wide.

We are currently hiring a Safety Supervisor to work in River Ridge, IN. This role is a direct hire opportunity, joining a global team offering continued industry training.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the implementation of company-wide and project-specific accident prevention initiatives.
  • Design, deliver, and manage safety training programs tailored to workforce and project needs.
  • Conduct routine worksite assessments to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs aligned with organizational safety standards.
  • Perform and document site safety inspections and audits, focusing on identifying hazards and correcting unsafe behaviors.
  • Organize and facilitate safety meetings and training sessions to promote open communication and awareness across all levels of staff.
  • Represent the company during safety inspections and regulatory investigations to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Review job hazard analyses for major work activities and ensure they are completed accurately.
  • Assist field leadership in the creation and continuous improvement of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
  • Monitor safety program effectiveness through daily site visits and provide oversight for compliance and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to develop and implement corrective action plans addressing safety issues.
  • Provide actionable feedback and support to project leaders, promoting continuous improvement and safety excellence.
  • Offer coaching and mentoring to correct unsafe behaviors while reinforcing and recognizing safe practices.
  • Conduct project-specific safety orientations for new team members as needed.
  • Support leadership in conducting incident investigations and ensure thorough case management for all workplace injuries and illnesses.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction safety or a related field.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required.
  • Prior experience working with union labor forces is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with teams and influencing positive safety behaviors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
