- Support the design, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of test and evaluation (T&E) programs, including FAA certifications.
- Assist in evaluating aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment across all acquisition phases and milestones.
- Prepare, review, and maintain T&E documentation for adequacy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to guidance.
- Provide recommendations for improving test documentation and T&E strategies.
- Support development of test plans, schedules, and cost assessments.
- Analyze and recommend T&E strategies, requirements, and test data needs to meet program objectives within constraints.
- Offer input on integrated data processing, analysis, and software considerations.
- Conduct trade-off studies and propose alternative testing strategies and methodologies.
- Participate in integrated test teams, test readiness reviews, and other test-related program events.
- Assess the availability and capability of DoD and civilian test facilities and resources.
- Monitor and report on the status of T&E efforts at both Contractor and Government facilities.
- Perform data analysis using modeling, simulation, and other analytical tools.
- Use analytical findings to refine testing procedures and identify areas for further investigation.
Qualifications: Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 20 years of experience in the respective
technical / professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD - or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective
technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 years of which must be in the DoD - or 30 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor
category performance requirements, 20 years of which must be in the DoD. - Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Top Secret Level.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and other standard applications.
