The Supply Chain Inventory Control Manager leads strategic inventory planning and financial alignment for the Global Industrial Region, ensuring supply chain objectives are met through effective flash and budget management. It drives initiatives to optimize working capital, improve asset utilization, and support cross-functional collaboration with Finance while championing continuous improvement in inventory control. Additional Information For this position the travel is 10% There will be meetings outside of business hours due to being a global position. - Develop and manage flash and budget plans to align with Global Supply Chain objectives for the Global Industrial Region.
- Lead strategic planning and execution of inventory control initiatives to optimize working capital across finished goods. Drive initiatives to meet division and regional inventory targets and service levels to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate closely with Finance teams to support monthly flash projections and annual budget planning. This includes providing timely and accurate operational data, analyzing variances, identifying cost drivers, and ensuring alignment between supply chain activities and financial targets. The role requires strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to translate supply chain metrics into financial insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Support tactical and strategic utilization of manufacturing and distribution assets and provide input for long-term resource planning.
- Align total production needs across regions with operational capabilities to maximize value.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts within inventory planning teams.
- Data modeling and scenario planning capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
- Must have at least seven (7) years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Finance
- Must have at least two (2) in supply chain planning tools and ERP systems expertise (e.g., Blue Yonder, Oracle)
- Must have at least two (2) year of work experience using Microsoft Excel, including writing formulas, formatting and sorting data, creating pivot tables and importing / exporting excel data to and from proprietary software
- Must have working experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Must have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
Preferred Qualification:
- Have a Master's Degree or higher
- Have at least eight (8) years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Finance
- Have Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
- Have at least one (1) with Business Objects or Tableau for data visualization and One Stream
