Position Highlights

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences invites applications for the position of Limited Term Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Plant Sciences. This hire is critical to the School's efforts to deliver courses that are essential for a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Plant Systems.

This position is to be taught in person, at our Yuma, Arizona location.

Duties & Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and evaluate instruction in PLS 300: Applied Weed Science

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's)

  • Extensive knowledge of subject area.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge in weed management, identification, and classification.
  • Knowledge in chemical and non-chemical weed management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences, or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching at the college level.
  • Experience contributing to curricula that are related to applied and basic plant sciences and their impacts on human society.
