Description

The Executive
Chair of the Dept of Pediatrics, and behavioral child neurologist specializing
in autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) is looking for a
bright, dynamic and energetic Director to help coordinate the activities across
their research portfolio. Reporting directly to the Principal Investigator,
this role keeps teams aligned, projects moving, and partnerships thriving, all
in pursuit of better outcomes for children and families.

The research portfolio
of the Director includes Aligning Research to Impact Autism (ARIA), a groundbreaking
initiative dedicated to turning scientific discovery into real-world impact for
individuals with autism. By connecting emerging research, insights, and
innovative technologies across disciplines, ARIA advances understanding and
expands therapeutic opportunities. We are dedicated to supporting people with
autism and connecting them to the care and resources they need. Behind every
study is a person, a family, and a community. ARIA bridges science and care to
improve lives and empower families.

Annual Salary
Range: $86,400.00 - $184,800.00

Qualifications

Required:

  • Advanced degree
    in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
  • Academic
    background and experience in selected area of research
  • Thorough
    knowledge of administrative, budgetary, human resources and financial
    principles and practice
  • Strong oral and
    written communication skills
  • Strong ability
    to think creatively and independently on concepts requiring advanced analytical
    skills
  • Strong
    interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups to achieve results
  • Strong ability
    to work collaboratively with internal and external peers and managers
  • Solid
    fundraising experience
