The Department of Psychological Sciences in the College of Arts and Science at the University of Missouri is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to support our graduate programs and students. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations, from recruitment through graduation. The Student Support Specialist provides technical and clerical support to graduate students, faculty members, the Chair, the Director of the Clinical Training Committee, and the Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Psychological Sciences. Responsibilities include maintaining and summarizing academic and fiscal records, assisting with the recruitment of new students, and supporting current graduate students throughout their academic progress. Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
One year of clerical experience, including experience with computer databases (e.g., Excel or Access) is required. Prior experience in an academic setting is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
Anticipated Hiring Range: $17.50-23.37 per hour Sponsorship Information
