About the Job Responsibilities include audiological assessment and management of hearing loss for children. Additional responsibilities include providing consultation to medical, allied health and educational personnel and education/instruction to patients, families, and other healthcare providers as appropriate. Licenses and Certifications
Audiology License (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - within 3 months - Required --- and --- Board Certification in Audiology - American Board of Audiology - within 3 months - Required --- or --- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - within 3 months - Required Basic Life Support (BLS) - Issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - within 3 months - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High level of analytical skill in order to work independently to identify and plan for the resolution of problems encountered in clinical and research duties. (Required proficiency) High level of skill in various audiological assessment procedures pertaining to the pediatric population. (Required proficiency) Fundamental research knowledge, including a general understanding of research methodology, design, and statistics. (Required proficiency) Interpersonal relationship skills to support effective communication with patients and families, as well as other medical professionals. (Required proficiency)

$74,250.00 - $94,660.00 Annually
