At CESO, a Sr Architecture Manager provides high-level strategic leadership and technical direction for the planning, execution, and delivery of construction documents across a broad and complex portfolio of projects. This position is accountable for driving department excellence, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and aligning team performance with organizational goals and industry best practices. In addition to overseeing multiple architecture teams and managing interoffice workload distribution, the Sr Architecture Manager plays a critical role in shaping long-term discipline strategy, mentoring emerging leaders, and championing innovation and continuous improvement. This position collaborates closely with senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional partners to ensure architectural solutions are forward-thinking, scalable, and aligned with project and business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
    • Assist team members by providing technical direction.
    • Provide strategic oversight of multiple architectural teams and leaders, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide goals, technical standards, and long-term business objectives.
    • Lead the development and execution of discipline-wide initiatives, including innovation strategies, operational improvements, and talent development programs.
    • Supervise and mentor Architecture Managers and (Sr) Team Leads, fostering leadership growth and ensuring consistent performance across teams and regions.
    • Drive the evolution of architectural standards, tools, and workflows to support scalability, efficiency, and technical excellence across the organization.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional departments to align department operations with corporate strategy and market demands.
    • Oversee discipline-level financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth.
    • Ensure architecture teams consistently deliver high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal benchmarks.
    • Serve as a senior technical advisor and escalation point for high-impact design challenges, risk mitigation, and strategic decision-making.
    • Supervising direct reports is a key responsibility of this job.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field is required.
    • Minimum of 18 years of professional experience is required.
    • Registered Architect (RA) licensure is required.
    • Obtain multi-state licensure as required by CESO to become a signatory for the company.
    • NCARB Certification is preferred.
    • CSI - CCS and or CDT certification is preferred.
    • Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Newforma Konekt.
    • Advanced knowledge of Revit, and/or AutoCAD.
    • Ability to travel.

$115,565 - $165,830 a year
