EMR Implementation Specialist

$65 per hour

MUST:

Experienced EMR Implementation Specialist

Must have experience managing the implementation of electronic medical administration records.

Must have experience working in Group Homes, Rehab Centers, and/or Long-Term Care

Must have experience training staff

Must have project management skills

Must have knowledge of medication management, pharmacy integration, and documentation compliance in a group home/long term care

DUTIES:

EMR implementation Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Develop and execute a detailed implementation plan for homes, including project timelines, key milestones, and designated responsible parties

Configure the ECP eMAR system in each home, coordinating closely with the ECP vendor, pharmacy partners, and internal staff

Train staff (nursing, lead direct care, and administrative) on the use of ECP eMAR's mobile and desktop modules, including offline functionality, documentation workflows, and change management practices

Align policies and procedures in each home with ECP eMAR functionalities, such as medication check-in, med pass notes, PRN monitoring, and overdue medication alerts

Coordinate pharmacy integration to ensure seamless flow of medication orders, updates, and documentation into the ECP system

Monitor and report key metrics post-go-live in each home, focusing on medication pass accuracy, overdue medications, staff adoption and usage, and resident care documentation compliance

Provide change management support by addressing staff concerns, promoting user adoption, troubleshooting issues, and refining workflows as needed

Prepare a final report summarizing the implementation process, lessons learned, adoption rates, and recommendations for ongoing use and future scaling.
