DESCRIPTION

The Ambulatory MON Pain Clinic Supervisor will supervise clinic operations, typically spanning multiple providers, clinics and / or practices. Subordinates include staff involved with professional operational functions. Oversight of administrative areas such as practice revenue management, billing systems and procedures, facilities and safety procedures, registration, new patient coordination, scheduling, medical records storage and maintenance, insurance authorizations. May also supervise patient support staff such as medical assistants or LVNs, in coordination with the nursing lead.

In addition to the direct clinic operations and flow, the Ambulatory MON Pain Clinic Supervisor will be overseeing the pain clinic call center, procedure scheduling and authorization units.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
  • A minimum of five (5+) years or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience and proven success in skills to effectively supervise patient care support staff.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical services operations.
  • Call center, procedure scheduling and authorization units experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Pain clinic supervision experience.
  • Experience working in an ambulatory clinic preferably with Interventional Radiology patients.
  • Experience with Epic.
  • Experience with Tableau & Excel.
  • Experience with budgets.
  • Experience with staffing/scheduling in a union environment.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $88,000 - $161,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $42.15 - $77.39

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
