Overview:

As a Process Improvement Sr. Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across the enterprise. This position is accountable for partnering with diverse business units to identify, design, and implement process improvements rooted in Lean and Six Sigma principles. Your expertise will help transform workflows, optimize efficiency, and deliver measurable results that align with organizational goals.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, uncover insights, and guide strategic decision-making. You will also communicate recommendations and improvement strategies to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

We are seeking a dynamic professional with proven experience in insurance or financial services who thrives on solving complex challenges and influencing change. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads other process improvement consultants and supports upskilling team members.

  • Leads large process-focused programs.

  • Manages continuous improvement assessments and supports business units with continuous improvement assessments.

  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.

  • Strong relationship-management skills that foster connection across multiple business functions.

Qualifications:

  • Requires specialized expertise in process improvement with a nationally-recognized Six Sigma Black Belt (or higher) certification.

  • Experience with process improvement within the Insurance or Finance industry (preferably 5+ years).

  • Experience with managing cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with assessing and improving complex processes within FP&A, risk management, portfolio management and operations.

  • Familiarity with working with Agile teams, supporting existing and new technologies.

  • Familiarity with AI principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA

  • Insurance industry certifications

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$86,500.00 - $160,000.00

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
